Camping Daintree National Park

While there is no camping in Daintree National Park except in the Cape Tribulation section, free camping is allowed in the Noah Beach area. Located 50 meters from Noah Beach, there is a camping area where you can enjoy nature. The area has bending trees and steep turns that are crossable by camper vans and cars. Once you reach the campsite, you notice that it is very shady and dark. Moreover, the camping site has composting toilets.

You can start camping in Daintree National Park at Cape tribulation area in two types of areas, the powered camp with full facilities and a remote unpowered dead zone. The powered camping sites are available by the beach with the facilities of hot showers, toilets, laundry, and two camp kitchens. You may also access free gas cookers, fridges, and sinks during your stay. You can further camp towards the 4WF Bloomfield track for an unpowered stay and use caravan storage for a remote no-network area.

Daintree Rainforest Village is a beautiful place to camp in the national park. The village is located before the tough typography starts further. The village had a lot of facilities like washrooms, laundry, camp kitchen, filling station, and provision for lighting the fire. You can find vibrant flora that mimics an impeccable blend of the campsite and a beautiful caravan park. This place is usually preferred before deep camping in Daintree National Park on rough terrain.

Camping in PK’s jungle is a surreal experience as you will enjoy a resort-like facility surrounded by unpowered sites. The PK’s jungle is situated in the center of Cape Tribulation with a light terrain that welcomes campers, and caravans. The designated camping areas are available on request with world-class amenities. The popular Jungle Bar and large pool amidst Daintree give you a sense of relaxation in this place.

The Safari Lodge is situated in the Ocean Safari Check-in office of Turtle Rock Cafe. Safari lodge lets you access the powered camping sites in Cape Tribulation. The camping sites have full facilities like a BBQ area, camp kitchen, electricity, etc. You can access the camping site close to restaurants, water bodies, and mainly near Myall Beach. Besides the camping in Daintree National Park, the safari lodge lets you go on a 25-minute thrilling boat ride for snorkeling across the Great Barrier Reef.

Yindilli ground is located 38 kilometers from Daintree Village with a rough terrain allowing four-wheel drive. The camping site has limited facilities like a toilet, shower, dry firewood, cooking area, etc for you to stay. You need to bring your food, supplies, and other equipment to this area. Walking tracks start from Yindilli Ground which leads to Bairds Creek. You can camp beside the serene mountainous waters of Bairds Creek on the green grasslands.
